Just over a fortnight to go for the launch of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in India and we have news coming in about the good old iPhone 4S getting a steep price cut. Earlier this week, two giants of Indian Telecom industry, Reliance and Airtel declared in individual press releases about the availability of the latest iPhones across stores in the country starting November 1.
No sooner did the news about the launch of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C hit the internet, Apple has went ahead and decided to slash the price of the iPhone 4S in India. The iPhone 4S 16 GB will now be available at Rs. 31,500/- facing a Rs. 7,000/- cut from the earlier official price tag of Rs 38,500/-.
Those of you thinking of getting the iPhone 5 for cheaper once the new iPhone models roll in, please be aware that Apple will discontinue the iPhone 5 once the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c land. Instead, Apple wants you to buy the cheaper iPhone 5c.
The current pricing for the base variant of the iPhone 5S is Rs 53,500/- and for iPhone 5C is Rs 41,900/-.
