Kodak has introduced a no frills digital camera named KODAK PLAYFULL Waterproof Camera. Priced at a modest $99.95 the camera is ideal for novice photographers and comes in a sleek lightweight sturdy design weighing at just 85g with some easy to use features.
The PLAYFULL has a very ergonomic design which makes it look more like a music player and is available in two colours i.e. black and white. It has a sleek body with just 0.5 inch thickness and also boasts of a 2.0″ TFT LCD display which comes with a Glare Shield Feature which automatically changes the settings on the screen in order to optimize your viewing experience under bright sunlight.
The Kodak PLAYFULL boasts of some very rigid features which includes dust proof,drop-proof from a maximum height of 5ft on plywood and waterproof up to a depth of 10 feet or 3 metres under water. It can also record videos in HD at 720p. It has a built-in Li-ion battery with capacity to record HD videos up to 10 hours. It also has a USB 2.0 and HDMI slots.
It has the Easyshare feature allowing you to share your photos and videos quickly on social sites. Besides there is a photo editing option as well wherein you can edit the photos in B&W, Sepia, High Saturation and 70’s film. The internal memory of the camera is 18 MB and can be expanded up to 32 GB with an SDHC card.
