First things first. Don’t you think the name “Xperia X10 Mini Pro” is a tad longish for a mere phone – that too for one that is compact at that? Just saying. Anyway, we are not discussing lengths of the names of popular handsets here. Instead, we are on about this latest leaked set of images that has come in from China.
The images you see below belong to a phone that (obviously) resembles the Xperia x10 Mini Pro. However what looks like the Xperia X10 Mini Pro (you now understand how irritating these long phone names are?) is actually of a successor that phone. This one which is called the SK17i (In Japan we presume) and codenamed “Mango,” supposedly runs Android 2.3 and has an UI that’s quite similar to the existing X8 and the Xperia x10 Mini-series of devices
That’s pretty much sums up what we know about this phone. Since this seems all set for its public appearance, we think an official announcement is just around the corner.
