At OG, we have always been a fan of power saving technologies. Hence here we have the Leech Plug. Whats so fascinating about this one? It is an outlet regulator which unplugs itself once the required energy is obtained, just like a leech and hence the name. It’s designed by RISD student Conor Klein.
It uses a timer circuit coupled with electromechanics which enables it to detach itself from the socket once fully charged. See the video below for a better understanding:
