Lenovo India has announced the addition of three new products to its existing portfolio of notebooks and All In Ones. The new launches include two new Ultrabooks and a stylish, premium All in One system. The new Ultrabooks include the IdeaPad U310 and the U410. Both these devices feature brand new third-generation Intel Core processors as well as large capacity SSD’s, fast boot up times ,instant resume feature and prolonged battery life.
If you recall, the The IdeaPad U310 and U 410 ultrabooks were first seen at this year’s CES held back in January. Like the name suggests, the U310 gets a 13.3 inch display while the U410 has a 14 inch screen. Both the Ultrabooks tip the scales at 1.7 kg and 1.9 kg, respectively. They are also quite thin measuring just 0.7 inch (18mm) and 0.83 inch (21mm) across, respectively.
While the IdeaPad U310 gets onboard Intel GMA 3000 HD graphics, the U410 makes hay with NVIDIA GeForce 610M 1GB graphics. Thanks to the third generation Intel chips, both the devices support Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) Technology as well. Both the Ultrabooks are available in a wide gamut of colors.
As for the pricing, both the devices are available in a variety of configurations with the base versions starting Rs. 49,990 and Rs. 52,990 for the U310 and the U410 respectively.
The next major launch announced by Lenovo is the IdeaCentre A720. This is claimed to be the world’s slimmest 27” All-in-One. It is just 25.4mm thick at its broadest. The A270 boasts of a frameless display supporting 10-point multi-touch. It also gets a widely adjustable screen angle which ranges from -5 degrees to 90 degrees. This according to Lenovo gives the consumer a wide variety of options to choose how they place the system customized to their needs. Like the two new Ultrabooks, the A720 too is powered by a 3rd gen Intel Core processor.
The pricing of the A270 starts at Rs.89,990 which makes it a premium product and also ends up competing with the iMac from Apple.
