Are you one of those who craves for features and functionality in a device? Ever imagined of a dual screen handset, better still a device with dual screen and even a QWERTY keyboard to go with it?
Well then that is what this device from LG exactly does it for you and that too in some style. It has a split keyboard with a screen in the middle apart from the main display.
The secondary screen which is situated between the slide out QWERTY keyboard has eight shortcut keys, which can be customized and used to launch an app on the main display as per your preferences. We don’t know what more this secondary display can do but I am sure developers would come out with innovative ways to use it.
From the looks of it I can certainly tell you that this device is headed to T-Mobile and also that the build quality of the handset doesn’t look that great. We still haven’t got it’s name, there are fair chances that this can be the Flip 2. The split-keyboard looks really great and might take getting used to but IMO this keyboard will be more user friendly than the conventional physical keyboards.
We would most definitely love the secondary screen to display zoomed portions from the main display while browsing on the net or while viewing photographs. What say???
Feel free to share your ideas on what the secondary screen could do; while we keep you updated on this one…
