LG launched its latest smartphone The LG G4. The succesor to LG G3 was first announced in April end in the Korean market. The phone’s innovative features were presented by Indian superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who also showcased some of the pictures he had clicked with the LG G4.
LG G4 has a beautiful and sleek design with hand-crafted leather back to provide a good grip. The back panel is also available in plastic back cover varient. Both plastic and leather back covers are available in three different colours. The phone features a 5.5-inch IPS Quantum display similar to the G3 with 535 ppi which makes colours appear vibrant.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with a dual-core ARM Cortex A57 and quad-core A53 with processor with 64-bit support powers the device and G4 also houses Adreno 418 GPU. The processor is loaded with 3GB of RAM.The LG G4 comes with 32GB with a slot for microSD card.
The LG G4 operates on Android 5.1 OS with LG’s custom UX 4.0 skin atop the Android OS.The smartphone has a smart bulletin screen which has functioning similar to Google Now.The phone comes with Qualcomm X10 LTE chipset for 4G LTE SIM cards. It has a dual SIM configuration. In connectivity department, the phone features Wi-fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and A-GPS.
In the camera department, the phone boasts a 16MP camera with laser-detect auto focus feature graces the rear side of the G4, present just above the volume rocker buttons. On the front face the phone have an 8MP camera for selfies and it supports gesture based shooting which can click 4 selfies in a second. The LG G4 has a 3000 mAh removable lithium ion battery. The launch price for this phone is kept at Rs. 51,000.
