Separate leaks from different sources in the last couple of days are pointing out at a possibility that the next Nexus device is indeed from LG.
Here are some of the images posted online from different sources:
This one was posted by a tech blog based out of Belarus, Baraholka.onliner.by. The device here resembles the Optimus G, albeit with a slimmer case and more rounded design.
Whereas this image leaked yesterday by xda developers forum member “4shael” shows a similar device.
And “4shael” reveals the specs pretty similar to what BGR.com had leaked a few days back:
- 1.5GHz quad-core processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 8GB of internal storage (no microSD card slot)
- 8-megapixel rear camera
- 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1,184 x 768 at 320 pixels per inch
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
BGR.com states that the device will boast of a quad core Snapdragon S4 processor and will be available in versions of 8GB / 16GB of internal memory, will house a non-removable battery and wireless charging.
The Verge has managed to leak an image of the Carphone Warehouse inventory listing which shows that the LG Nexus device would be called the LG Nexus 4 and would be available in two colors, i.e. White & Black.
Possibility of other manufacturers working on their versions of the next Nexus is also doing the rounds. However we will know the truth soon as the LG Nexus 4 device is said to be released by the end of October.
