The Optimus 2x has been priced at Rs.30,000 although we expect the street prices to be slightly lower.
LG has also said that it would be launching the Optimus Black in India. That phone is expected to be priced at Rs.27,000 when it lands here in May. The Optimus Black claims to have the worlds brightest screen on a phone claiming 700 nits of brightness.
LG seems to have hit the sweet spot with the pricing of the Optimus 2X it seems. In terms of pure specs, currently there is nothing like the Optimus 2X here in India. It would get some competition when Samsung’s Galaxy S II arrives soon.
