While Nokia made it clear that they have no hardware to demo at this years MWC (apart from a WP7 mockup), it became clear that no MeeGo handset would be seen, however it seems that Intel, who is promoting MeeGo steadily, has a Tablet and Smartphone powered by the open source OS to show. The teaser comes from a leaked banner at the MWC venue. Though that doesn’t guarantee a working prototype, the market expectations are clear! Intel has committed MeeGo development, with or without Nokia and we do look forward to see multiple MeeGo releases this year. After all its an open source OS and its not just Nokia who would be eyeing to use that on a smartphone.
