Micromax has always been selective about its launches. The company proves it again after Micromax Canvas Fire 3 A096, an unannounced product, is listed on the company’s official product listing. Along with this it is also available with an online retailer for Rs 6499. The company seems to be completely ready for selling out the product marking its delivery date within a week itself.
The Canvas device features a dual speaker design reminiscent of HTC’s creations along with a 4.5-inch 960 x 540p screen. The phone is supported with IPS technology along with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The body has a finished metallic texture which is pretty common but appealing at the same time. The Micromax Canvas Fire 3 A096 is powered by a quad core MediaTek MT6582M processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with a 1GB RAM.
The phone has an internal memory of 8GB out of which 5GB is available to the users. The device has an option of increasing its memory up to 32GB via SD card. The company decided to go with KitKat 4.4.2. surprisingly not supporting the device with Android Lollipop. This move has now kept the public in hope for it to soon beam with an update to the latest version of the OS. In the camera front the one on the back panel is a 5Mp resolution lense along with an LED flash unit. The front-facing is a 2MP one with fixed focus which also supports a flash. The device packs a 1850mAh battery which promises to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time. Along with this on the connectivity front, the handset offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB and Bluetooth options. There are quite a few applications which come pre-loaded with the 3G-capable phone. Some of the applications available on the phone includes M! Live M!, Games Opera, Swift key, Hike, Clean Master, Games Club, M! Insurance M! Security, Snapdeal, Truecaller and Reverie apps.
