Redmond-based tech giant Microsoft had launched the Surface 7 Pro in India in February this year. The brand had introduced the Surface 7 Pro, Surface Pro X and Surface Laptop 3 in October last year. The latter two devices were listed on the company’s official website in India with a ‘coming soon’ tag. Microsoft has brought the three computing devices to the country earlier this month. Surface Pro X specifications:
Starting with the Surface Pro X, this is a 2-in-1 convertible device that can be used in various form factors. It features a 13-inch edge-to-edge touchscreen display bearing a QHD resolution. Microsoft claims that the Surface Pro X is its thinnest 2-in-1 laptop measuring 7.3mm. The convertible laptop features a 5MP front-facing camera and a 10MP rear shooter. Both the cameras are capable of recording 1080p FHD video. On the audio front, the Surface Pro X is equipped with 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio and dual far-field studio mics.
Under the hood, the Surface Pro X is powered by Microsoft SQ1 chipset developed in partnership with Qualcomm. The processor is paired with an Adreno 685 GPU onboard. The Surface Pro X packs up to 16GB RAM and offers up to 512GB storage in the form of an SSD.
The laptop is claimed to last up to 13 hours on a single charge. It offers LTE connectivity with a nano-SIM slot. Other connectivity options include two USB-C ports, a Surface Connect port, Surface Keyboard Connector port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and GLONASS.
Surface Laptop 3:
The Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 is available in 13.3 and 15.5-inch screen sizes. Both the variants come with support for the Surface Pen. The 13.3-inch houses the latest 10th gen Intel Core processor upto Core i7. The 15.5 -inch model is equipped with AMD chipset. Both the models pack 16GB DDR3 RAM and offer 128GB SSD storage.
Battery life on the Surface Laptop 3 is rated at up to 11.5 hours. Connectivity options on the Surface Laptop 3 include a USB-C port, USB-A, 3.5mm headphone jack and a Surface Connect port.
Surface Pro 7:
Coming to the Surface Pro 7, this one is also a 2-in-1 device like the Surface Pro X. It sports a 12.7-inch touchscreen display bearing a resolution of 2,736 x 1,825 pixels. The laptop is offered in different hardware configurations featuring up to 16GB RAM, Intel Core i7 processors and 256GB SSD storage. The Surface Pro 7 comes with an 8MP rear and 5MP front camera. The device is equipped with dual far-field studio microphones, stereo speakers with Dolby Audio support. The laptop is claimed to deliver up to 10.5 hours of battery life.
Surface X Pro, Surface Laptop 3 & Surface Pro 7 pricing:
The Surface X Pro is priced at Rs 98,999. The Surface Laptop 3 costs Rs 98,999 for the 13.3-inch variant while the 15-inch model retails at Rs 1,16,999. The price of Surface Pro 7 starts at Rs 72,999 for the base variant and goes up to Rs 1,41,999 for the top-end configuration.
