Motorola made a comeback into the flagship market nearly two years after the brand’s Moto Z2 Force in 2017. The Lenovo-owned brand unveiled Edge and Edge+ smartphones last month with top-of-the-line specifications. Now, Motorola has brought the Edge+ smartphone to the Indian market. Let’s take a look at what the device offers out of the box:

The striking highlight of the Motorola Edge+ is its waterfall-like display with curved edges on both sides. The device offers a 6.7-inch screen which the brand calls ‘Endless Edge’ display. It bears a full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate panel and HDR10 support. The smartphone is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. There is a tiny punch-hole cutout for the front camera at the top left corner. The back of the phone houses a vertical camera setup and a centrally placed Motorola batwing logo. The Motorola Edge+ is offered in Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey colour options.
In the photography department, the Motorola Edge+ sports a triple camera system comprising of a 108MP primary sensor, 8MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultra-wide camera. The ultra-wide unit also doubles up as a macro and ToF sensor. The front camera features a 25MP selfie shooter. The camera features on the smartphone include dual OIS, AI and 6K video recording.
Under the hood, the Motorola Edge+ houses the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with integrated X55 modem for 5G connectivity. The chipset is paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. The smartphone runs on a stock Android 10 OS. It draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 15W Turbocharge wired as well as wireless charging. The Motorola Edge+ comes with Wireless PowerShare feature that is capable of wirelessly charging other compatible devices.

Motorola has priced the Edge+ at Rs 74,999. It is already available for purchase on Flipkart and leading offline retail stores. Customers using ICICI credit cards and EMI payment option can avail flat Rs 7,500 discount as a part of the launch offer.
