Creating apps for Android just got a whole lot easier, thanks to an online service called AppsGeyser. You do not need to do any coding whatsoever, just enter some information in an online form, and you can have an Android app that you can even upload to the Android Market. Best of all, it is all free. We actually gave it a spin and after just having entered our URL into an online form were able to get a truly basic .app File of an app that pulled content from our website and refreshed at regular intervals with the option to put it on the Android Market (no, we have not put it online yet) – all within a few seconds. If you are determined to mess with the code, you can also use Javascript, Flash and Ajax in your app.
Of course, there are a few catches – the service works only for apps that require content from a website, and every app that you create will have ads in it (the price of everything being free, we guess). Also, the apps will work only on devices running Android 2.1 and higher. Still, that seems a small price to pay to be able to create an app out a website in literally a few clicks. Give it a try here.
