NVIDIA has announced the launch of it newest Fermi class GPU, the GT 430. The card is targeted at casual gamers and HTPC users who want decent graphics power to enjoy games at decent framerates.
The GT 430 is based on the Nvidia’s 40nm GPU, the GF108 and is capable of being an ardent replacement for on board graphic solutions. It supports DirectX 11 (DX11), HDMI 1.4a, full HD video compatibility, lossless DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD audio bit streaming Support for PhysX technology.
Nvidia’s GT 9600 offers slightly better DX 10 performance from what we have heard so it would be beneficial to see how vendors like ASL, ASUS, Colorful, ECS, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision 3D, Jetway, KFA2, Leadtek, MSI, Palit, Point of View, PNY, Sparkle, Zotac and others. The card would soon be made available in India as well.
