Just day before yesterday we had seen the HTC Thunderbolt rooting guide and we have come to know that it takes a long time to root the device in that method. Lots of codes and many files to download and use of cmd prompt well now its time for all the Thunderbolt users to rejoice as the 1 click rooting application is out and we will be showing you exactly how to do it.
Rooting the HTC Thunderbolt
Requiremenets:
- All Thunderbolt drivers installed
- SDK installed with ADB
- Download PG05IMG.zip from our last post here
- Downgrade RUU
- Thunderbolt running 605.6 or 605.9 firmware
- Download one click here
Procedure:
- Follow the above requirements
- Please check whether you have downgraded the RUU or not
- Check the Firmware version
- Connect your phone through the usb cable provided to the computer
- Run the application you just downloaded
- It will open on cmd prompt, type y and press enter
- That’s it the process will begin, then disconnect the device. Your device has been rooted
