The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has informed that it has planned to conduct two contests before the most expected launch of OnePlus 2. The contest which has been announced, has attracted a lot of response and people are very much interested in the contests as the launch of its new version OnePlus 2 will be in the late Q3 of 2015.
The contests which are to be conducted are an act of keeping the enthusiasm among the customers, in a way to advertise their new version. The contests are dubbed to be ‘Your OnePlus Story’ and ‘Photo Mania 2015’.This time the reviews of the to be launched OnePlus Two will be from the customers at their headquarters present at Hongkong, that is, the winners from the contests will be able to go to OnePlus headquarters which is an all-expenses paid trip.
Your OnePlus Story – is where the contestants will have to create an original video depicting their true story with OnePlus. This means the applicants can narrate anything about OnePlus, their quality, their experience (if applicable) and their expectations regarding the OnePlus 2 version. The videos should meet certain criteria, such as quality, production standards and originality. The judges will announce the winners based on these fulfilled conditions and will be called for a free trip to Hongkong.
The winners will also play a pivotal role in the launch of OnePlus 2 and along with it eight runners-up will be given OnePlus gift hampers. The most important thing to be verified by the panel judges is that the photos must be authentic and not be edited. The selection is based on the number of likes on Instagram and technical ability with which the photo is taken.
