Oppo has recently launched the Oppo R5 Gilded Edition in India, the Gilded Edition comes with a Gold Frame and will be available in the market from today. You’ll be lucky to get your hands on one because the Gilded Edition is a limited series model with only 10,000 units available globally.Priced at Rs 29,990 the phone needs to be pre booked and would not be readily available.
The Oppo R5 is one of the slimmest phone in the world at just 4.85mm in thickness. The thin body houses a very powerful Snapdragon 615 Octa Core Processor and has 2GB of RAM. The processor has 4 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and 4 cores clocked at 1GHz. The 5.2 Inch AMOLED display has a vivid output and low power consumption at the same time.
The Oppo R5 comes with 16GB of internal memory and supports USB OTG so you can connect a pendrive directly to the phone. The 13 megapixel camera at the back is capable of 4K video recording. The supplied Pure Image software is capable of stitching together images delivering a 50 megapixel image. The 5 megapixel front facing camera is good for selfies and and video calling.
The phone supports Oppo’s VOOC charging and charges upto 75% in just 30 minutes. Oppo also claims that 5 min of charge can power the phone for a 2hour long call. The phone has a 2000mAh non removable battery. The phone does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack and uses a USB to 3.5mm adapter that is provided in the box.
The Gilded Edition has a gold finish frame that adds to the beauty of the phone. The slim phone with the micro arc frame make this phone a stylish powerhouse.
