Inspite of samsung providing the A4 processor, flash memory for iphone4 and no comments on apple about the antenna issue, apple has mocked samsung by using omnia at the attenagate conference. Utter mockery and back stabbing inspite of fault lying on apple’s side. Why does apple want to give free bumpers if they feel there is nothing wrong in their design. They put up a stupid conference and instead of accepting its a design flaw they want to cover it up by showing something stupid.
Samsung has rightly put up the above ad so it can show that it doesn’t have the design flaw.
1. Sasmung providing A4 and Flash memory isnt a favor. Apple pays for it and Apple is perhaps Samsungs biggest client for Flash memory. (Samsung Mobile is a different biz). So lets be clear on what we are talking about.
2. Why Apple is giving free bumpers? Coz a 100 million is nothing compared to the bad PR iPhone 4 was receiving. Cant you take things at face value, We love our customers, thats what Apple said?
3. Is there a antenna issue, certainly yes. Affecting all – no! I have an iPhone 4 and here at my home where AT&T is giving full network the bar drops by 1 if I hold it tightly and by 2 bars if I hold it very tightly. But in normal usage, not an issue.
4. So Samsung needs to tell they don’t have a flaw that iPhone 4 has, to sell their smartphone? Thats exactly what I mean by measuring scale!

I agree with u Ankur.. People just need sone reason to point fingers towards apple.. Steve did an excellen thing by comparing the antennas for all the smartphones.. Samsung and nokia are resorting to cheap advertiaements.. IPhone is the best phone till date i have used…cheers
I agree with you, Annkur. At least Apple confronted the iPhone signal isssue, rather than living in denial like several other companes that go on claiminging that there is nothing wrong with their devices even though user’s complaints keep coming in.
I think Rakesh has put his finger on it, in that, Apple got on and addressed the iPhone signal problem, where other companies will just stick their heads in the sand and pretend there in no problem what so ever! -and that is so frustrating.
It’s a funny advert, yet Apple come out on top, even though Samsung paid for the Ad !
