LG showcased its new line of Cinema 3D Smart TV last weekend in Mumbai, which is now available in stores since the 12th of May itself. The Cinema 3D Smart TV range will be available in 21 SKU’s ranging from 32 inches to a gigantic 72 inches (yes that’s 6 feet) starting with a affordable price range of Rs. 55,000 to a massive Rs. 7,00,000 for the 72 inches one.
For a conglomerate that’s planning to climb up to the numero uno slot for the 3D market in India is certainly a step in the right direction when you consider the wide range of options available to choose from.
Now talking about the innovative features about the Cinema 3D Smart TV’s we loved the following features :
Dual Play
With the help of specially made glasses this feature allows two players to see only their perspective on the whole screen instead of the split screen, though the viewing would not be in 3D here.
2D to 3D conversion
While there are a lot of proprietary conversion softwares available with various manufacturers integrated on their televisions and projectors, we quite loved the results we experienced on the LG Cinema 3D TV’s and believe its right up there as one of the best.
Intel WiDi (Smart Share)
With the help of this feature one can share their content on their laptop or the Smart TV. You can also use the computer screen for work, while others enjoy multimedia from your notebook on the Cinema 3D Smart TV.
Smart Share Plus
This feature allows you to share content on your portable devices like smartphones and tablet with the Smart TV and thus allowing you to watch it on the big screen. And at the same time it can stream multimedia content back to your screen as well.
Magic motion Remote Control
I’m not sure if it’s magical but it can certainly do some impressive stuff which includes the ability to point and control specific location on the screen, gesture control and the scroll wheel on the remote which help you scroll through web pages like you do with a mouse.
Among other important features are the 3D World, which provides access to 3D content like movies etc. and the Smart TV’s web browser.
