Today we are taking a brief look at the Turkish made DC Slide washed leather case for the iPhone 4/4S. While I personally am not a very big fan of any sort of cases or covers for my gadgets, for those of you who like to keep their iPhones scratch and damage free, this one definitely seems to be a good buy.
Made of genuine leather, the cover looks classy and can prove to be a nice addition to your iPhone accessory list.
DC’s washed pattern leather case comes in a multitude of color options – all of which look good. The one we got however was in Black. The case gets a crumpled washed finish that renders it a unique look to it – apart from providing nice grip to your hands when held.
That said, it boils down to user whether or not he appreciates the look of the case. The washed look for example may not appeal to everyone. Reactions from people have been mixed whenever the product was taken out of the pocket.
The product, as we mentioned earlier is made of pure leather and is hemmed together in a way that it provides a perfect fit to your iPhone. The best part about the case is the attention to detail.
To ensure that your phone remains safe and scratch free even while it’s inside the case, there is a micro velvet lining on the insides of the cover to keep your iPhone screen dust free. Neat! Another neat touch are the holes for the speaker at the bottom of the case. This ensures that you would not miss many calls while the phone is tucked away in your pocket.
You can use the pull-tab provided with the case to easily insert or remove your iPhone whenever you need it.
While the product looks and feels great, we are unsure if this would be a great choice if your work involves taking your phone out a lot in the open -especially with the monsoons looming large. That said, if you are sure about keeping the case and your phone away from water, we have no qualms in recommending this one for you.
