Samsung has started the production of high performance toggle double data rate 2.0 (DDR 2.0) MMC NAND chip. The new 64 gigabit NAND chip has an impressive 400mbps transfer rate. This transfer rate is three times more than the toggle DDR 1.0.
We see that mobile phones, laptops are used 24-hrs for storage. This storage is done by the NAND flash chips. More often than not we end up feeling that the storage capacity on our devices should be much more alongwith a faster transfer data rate. DDR 2.0 chip makes this storage and transfer very efficient since it has a very large storage and a very high data transfer rate.
The chip is designed to support the high-performance requirements of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, heading towards a faster future!
