Hello folks, We are live from the Samsung event in Mumbai. As we speak, Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition is being launched in India. Last month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition as a successor to its Galaxy Note 10.1 in an event when Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch too were unveiled.
The latest Galaxy Note 10.1 houses a Super clear LCD (WQXGA) capacitive touchscreen an upgrade from the PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen found in its predecessor. It gives a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 10.1 inch screen at ~299 ppi pixel density. Unlike the Galaxy Note 10.1 the 2014 edition also comes with a S-Pen Stylus just like other phablets in the Note series.
It houses a 8 megapixel camera at the rear along with LED flash while the front carries a 2 megapixel camera. Both cameras are capable of capturing Full HD videos (1080p at 60fps – rear; 1080p at 30 fps – front)
It has available 32 GB of internal storage, has 3 GB of RAM and supports memory expansion with microSD card up to 64 GB . It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and the CPU for 3G model which is being launched is Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 (3G model).
It is powered by a Non-removable Li-Po 8220 mAh battery and runs on Android version 4.3 JellyBean. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and 3G. The Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available in Jet Black & Classic White color options and is priced at Rs. 49,990; same as that of the Galaxy Note 3.
