The device that many consider being the biggest challenger to the iPad is expected to be released in India this Friday. No, we have no official confirmation, but when one gets an invite from Samsung saying “Lets Tab…Let’s Talk…” and there is talk of this event featuring Samsung’s most respected product of the year, well, one cannot help but draw conclusions, can one? Of course, the greatest amount of interest is going to be about the price of the Galaxy Tab, which has been garnering fantastic reviews from critics all over the world and features a 1 GHz processor, a 7 inch touchscreen, connectivity options galore and Android 2.2. Speculation has so far placed it to be in the vicinity of Rs 40,000, but we are keeping our fingers crossed and hoping it will be a lot lower than that.
