The recently launched Samsung Galaxy J series smartphones are finally unveiled in India. The smartphones are mainly focused on sefies, they were first launch in China last month.From the J series, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7 to the smartphone market.
The Galaxy J5 sports a 5-inch super AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 1280 X 720. The phone operates on a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clubbed with 1.5GB RAM. This new device by Samsung runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The Galaxy J5 has an internal memory of 16GB which can be extended up to 64GB via an external microSD card.
In the camera department, J5 sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash combined with a 5 megapixel front camera with a 120-degree wide angle lens and LED Flash. This 4G enabled dual-SIM smartphone has a launch price of Rs 11,999. The 2600mAh battery has enough juice to last for an entire day over the normal use.
Another smartphone from the J series is, the Galaxy J7. It features a larger 5.5-inch super AMOLED display screen. The smartphone runs on a 1.4GHz + 1GHz octa-core Exynos processor combined with 1.5GB RAM.
The J7 sports a camera with the specifications similar to the Galaxy J5. Also, similar to the Galaxy J5, the J7 operates on the latest Android Lollipop 5.1 as well. The smartphone draws juice from a battery of whooping 3000mAh capacity. This 4G enabled smartphone has a launch price of Rs 14,999.
These latest smartphones made for the mid budget segment will be available in Black, White and Gold color variants.
Samsung has made the J series smartphones available to the consumers on the e-commerce platform Flipkart. They are only available to the users when via pre-booking on Flipkart.
