Samsung has managed to sell a whopping 300 million handsets in 2011 with the majority of the contribution coming from the Galaxy family which includes the likes of the coveted Galaxy SII of which 10 million have already been sold, the Galaxy Nexus and the latest tablet cum smartphone Galaxy Note. All these handsets are based on the Android platform.
