Naked & Famous have come up with scented jeans which, works on the Scratch-n-Sniff technology, wherein when you scratch your jeans it would emanate the fragrance of raspberry. Agreed that this is funny, but it might prove to be useful to a lot of folks out there.
Naked & Famous is based out of Canada and claims to manufacture its jeans from raw denim from a traditional mill in Japan. Coming back to the scent technology in the jeans, it’s achieved by coating the jeans with raspberry perfume and baking it onto the jeans.
As a result many micro capsules are created which break on scratching the jeans and the resultant fragrance emanates from it.
The Scratch-n-Sniff jeans by Naked & Famous can be purchased online for €150 or $165.
Well this might certainly sound like a crazy idea to most of us from a crazy firm, but it might get popular with the teenagers. Though, I’m not quite in favor of the idea of smelling like raspberries. Maybe they can create jeans for women with that fragrance, but they better have some manly fragrances, as well.
