The Sony Ericsson Xpera Play has been in the radar from november last year and all the people are looking forward to its release and check it out, but UK carrier O2 has reported that due to some software bugs or glitches during testing they will be delaying the launch of the Xperia Play.
Official statement from O2 UK “We’ve been testing the phone non-stop for weeks and have found some bugs in the software that, if they’re not fixed, means customers won’t have a great experience. We’ve been working with Sony Ericsson to get these bugs ironed out, but haven’t been able to get them fixed in time for us to be able to launch the phone on April 1st as we originally planned.”
We have not yet received news whether it is the problem with the carrier integration or it’s the problem with the device, if it’s the problem with the device then Xperia Play will also be delayed in other carriers as well, there is no official word from Sony Ericsson about these bugs so we have to wait for more information.
