The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, the first playstation Smartphone will be coming to India with a price tag of 34,000 and it will be launched around April-end or May after the launch of the Sony Experia Arc and the Neo.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play was quite the attention grabber at the Mobile World Congress showing off its dedicated graphics sporting the Qualcomm 1 GHz Snapdragon Processor with Adreno 205 GPU. It also has dedicated gaming controls, supports multitouch and also has the analog touch input which acts as joystick. It runs the latest Android version 2.3 Gingerbread.
Though the hardware specs of this device is not the latest and will not be able to compete with the Dual core phones, The release of this phone will be a great boon for the Android users and also the gaming enthusiasts and kids. Finally we will be seeing better quality games coming in for Android. The Price is very high considering the hardware on this device but let’s see whether the price will go down after the release.
