Touchtype has officially announced that it will be launching the tablet version of its SwiftKey keyboard. The new keyboard has been optimized specially for Honeycomb with the help from Google and Motorola and it also matches the holographic design of Honeycomb. This keyboard is powered by TouchType’s Fluency prediction engine.
This new keyboard is very interesting because of the split keys. It will be a lot more easier to write on a large screen tablet like the Motorola Xoom which measures 10 -inches across. It is also expected to make typing faster. I would be very excited to check out this keyboard when it is released.
Swiftkey for honeycomb will be demonstrated live during the MWC so stay tuned for more information on this.
