We had heard about the Sidekick 4G coming soon from December itself. This revolutionary slide phones which changed everyone’s perspective about the Slide Phones. The only change is that this Sidekick is by Samsung .
The new Sidekick has a 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen, with a Hummingbird CPU and will be running the Android 2.2, coupled with a front facing camera and HSPA+.
T-Mobile also has their own two new messaging application which is “Group text” and “Cloud text”, and also Samsung’s MediaHub and DriveSmart app which stops texting while driving. The best feature of a SideKick device is always the hardware keyboard. It has like the earlier sidekick a five-row keyboard and the spacing between keys are good and the keys are quite larhe for ease of use. Another good thing about the keyboard is that, it has a special app switching key integrated into the keyboard which is a pretty interesting feature.
Will the Sidekick be able to beat the other Android devices? Will this be a deserved successor of the Original Sidekick? The only problem is that initially this device will be running Android 2.2 and not gingerbread but we expect T-Mobile to bring out the updates soon.
