Fresh on the heels of the memorable IIT Techfest, we’re at the VJTI Mumbai covering day one of the Technovanza. The event still seems to be in the “cold start” mode with the crowd yet to pour in. But then, we have two more days to go and some exciting events as well to cover in the coming days. We do have some pictures of the events we managed to witness on day one. We also have some videos that would be up very soon! So, watch this space!
Crazy Golf:
Crazy Golf is a rather simple (as in, the rules are simple!) robotic event whereby you must design a wired robot that can putt balls into holes. Sounds easy, right! The event has several stages ranging from making simple drives to time trials and more.
Monster Arena:
Lock And Load
Lock n load is an event where the participants skills at robotics are tested to the hilt.The event involves the making of two robots that lock into each other and function as a unit. The duo must perform a task while overcoming a set of hurdles like speed-breakers, electromagnets, slopes etc. which may cause the robots to separate or deviate from the track.
Harley Davidson!
The surprise package was the trio of Harley Davidson motorbikes present at the campus. To say that these beauties were the cynosure of all eyes would be an understatement!
