So guess what folks over at Engadget has dug up? That’s right folks, the image you see below are that of the PlayStation Phone the much awaited device that many thought would never see the light of the day.
Engadget claims that this indeed is the real PSP Phone that we have been long waiting for and has some more details for us as well. The phone when launched sometime in 2011 will run Android Gingerbread and will come with a marketplace of its own from where you would get to download and purchase games. This is apart from the apps you can get from the Android market.
Specs include a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It gets 512MB of RAM and a GB of ROM as well. While the exact specifications and size of the screen isn’t out yet, it is thought to range from a 3.7 incher to a large 4.4 inch one. It has a large touch pad at the center of the slider – quite similar to the buttons on the PSP.
The model shown here is an early prototype and comes loaded with an ordinary version of Android minus Sony Ericsson’s Timespace interface.
What do you think about this one? Do you think you’d be seeing one of these very soon in your hands?

VapourWARE or Mockup.
Anyways, SONY Hardware is desparate WHAT with the somewhat poor show of the latest PSP. If Not Sony, Some Else (Looking at you China) CAN Make this LONG-BEFORE Sony does…
The Image doesn’t look very appealing to me either.
