AirPlay is a proprietary protocol developed by Apple. It allows users to stream music, photos, movies and games from any Apple device to AirPlay-compatible device. The list of Apple devices include iPhones, iPads and Macs, while devices that support AirPlay are usually televisions and sound system. With the feature, users can mirror content from their iPhones, iPads and Macs on to a bigger screen i.e. TV.

LG AI ThinQ TV range
LG’s AI ThinQ televisions are offered in various display variants ranging from 32-inches to 77-inches. The company’s range of TVs with ThinQ AI capabilities include OLED TVs, NanoCell TVs and UltraHD TVs.

Sony X90H series
Sony’s range of premium smart TVs also supports the latest Apple AirPlay 2 version now. The list of TVs in Sony’s portfolio that comes with the feature includes televisions from the brand’s X, Z and A series. These TVs start from Rs 50,000 and go higher for a premium model.
The Sony X90H series was launched last year. It comes in 55-inch and 65-inch screen variants. However, the display type is LCD instead of an OLED panel. The TV features full-array local dimming and supports HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision. With HDMI 2.1, the television supports up to 4K resolution at 120fps.
For audiophiles, the television sports two full-range and two tweeters producing 20W sound output. It comes with an HDMI eARC channel.
The Sony X90H runs on Android TV OS and ships with Google Play Store. It packs 16GB onboard storage. The TV features Chromecast built-in, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant as well as Apple AirPlay and Apple HomeKit.
As for pricing, the Sony X90H 55-inch (Croma) model carries a price tag of Rs 1,29,900. The 65-inch model costs Rs 2,09,900.
Samsung Serif series
The Samsung Serif series is offered in 43, 49 and 55-inch screen sizes. It features Quantum Processing 4K and HDR10. The Serif smart TV features a unique I-shaped unibody design, which can be placed on a table, shelf or on the floor.
The Samsung Serif smart TV comes with an integrated NFC technology., Alexa, and Bixby. It also offers a personal computer mode, auto hotspot, Home Cloud and more. The televisions also supports Apple AirPlay 2.

Samsung The Frame series
Samsung’s The Frame TV is available in 50, 55 and 65-inch screen sizes bearing 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It features QLED display technology with 100 percent colour gamut and HDR10+ support. The TV turns into a digital frame when not in use. It is also equipped with built-in motion and brightness sensors that automatically adjust to the ambient lighting in the room. The television produces a sound output of 40W.
The Frame smart TV comes with voice assistants like Bixby, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa. The television features the latest Apple AirPlay 2 version. Connectivity options on The Frame smart TV include 4 HDMI ports, 3 USB ports, Wifi, Bluetooth and auto hotspot technology.
The Samsung Frame 2020 has been priced at Rs 74,990, Rs 84,990 and Rs 1,39,990 for the 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch models, respectively. The TV will be sold on Flipkart and Samsung’s official online store.
