Twitter has just released new version of the official Android Twitter client with a host of feature updates and bugfixes. The application, available for most Android devices running OS 2.1 and above is claimed to be much faster than the outgoing app.
It features a revamped navigation and UI layout that is said to be much better than the older version. It now gets a search screen to look for your phone contacts on Twitter. It also gets universal search feature. A good feature for those of you who reply to tweets a lot is autocomplete for usernames that has been added. The app also gets a revamped photo uploading procedure and is overall way faster than the old app when it comes to replying, retweeting and following new users.
Like we mentioned earlier, your phone should be running Android 2.1 or above to be able to run this new version.
