On the eve of this year’s MWC, Viewsonic has announced the launch of two its most anticipated devices in the European market. The devices in question are the new Dual-SIM Android Smartphone, the V350 and the latest entry to the Tablets space in the form of a 10 inch professional tablet PC, the ViewPad 10Pro. Both the devise would be previewed at the MWC.
The V350 Smartphone with boasts of a 3.5 inch display and is an active Dual-SIM device running the Android 2.2 Froyo. It can take in two SIMS and both would remain active simultaneously. The display boasts of HVGA resolution. For imaging purposes there is a 5-megapixel auto-focus camera at the rear. Other features include Micro-SD expansion, Wifi, Bluetooth 2.1 and assisted GPS navigation.
Next we have the he ViewPad 10Pro tablet which is a one of a kind device that boasts of running two operating systems. It dual boots to Windows® 7 Professional for business use and Google Android 2.2 for personal and social entertainment! The device gets Intel’s OakTail processor and offers fill support for flash 10.1. It has a 1024×600 LED backlit capacitive multi-touch display and offers 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Battery life is rated for six hours of battery life.
These capabilities do make both the Viewsonic devices stand out from the rest of the tablets out there. There is no word of an India launch for this one as of now.
