In the recent past, Vivo has launched quite a few smartphones with notched display design such as Vivo V9, Vivo X21, Vivo X21i and Vivo Y83 Today, the Chinese manufacturer has launched a new smartphone called Vivo Z1 and it also sports a notched display. In fact, the Z1 phone is first phone from the newly introduced Z series of smartphones. Here is all the information available on its specifications, features and pricing.
Vivo Z1 Specifications and Features
The Vivo Z1 houses a 6.26-inch display that produces Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The Snapdragon 660 chipset with comes with a dedicated Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE) is present under the hood of the phone. The chipset includes 2.2 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 512 graphics.
The SoC is assisted by 4 GB of RAM. The native storage of the Vivo Z1 is 64 GB and it comes with hybrid SIM slot that supports up to 256 GB of microSD card. The FunTouch OS 4.0 flavored Android 8.1 Oreo is available on the Z1 phone.
In terms of photography, the dual camera setup residing on the back of the phone features a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a secondary sensor of 2-megapixel. For shooting selfies, it is equipped with a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset is fueled by 3,260mAh battery.
The rear shell of the phone also features a fingerprint reader. For the convenience of the users, the handset comes with face unlock feature. The Z1 includes other usual connectivity features such as dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack.
Vivo Z1 Pricing
The Vivo Z1 is now available on pre-orders in China with a price tag of 1,798 that equates to around Rs. 19,000. As it can be seen above, the handset will be available in colors like Black, Blue and Red in the home country. The shipments of the Vivo Z1 will begin on June 4. As of this writing, there is no confirmation on whether which other markets will be receiving the Vivo Z1 smartphone.
