In the last month, Xiaomi had launched the 55-inch Mi TV 4 in India with a price tag of Rs. 39,999. In the previous week, it unveiled the budget-friendly 43-inch and 32-inch Mi TV 4A models with respective pricing of Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 23,999. In order to rival with Xiaomi, Vu Televisions has introduced its first Android TV models in India dubbed as Official Android TV. It has launched three new TV models such as 55-inch (55SU138), 49-inch (49SU131) and 43-inch (43SU128).
The Official Android TV series from Vu are pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It comes with apps like Store, YouTube, Hotstar, Facebook Video, Sony LIV, and ALT Balaji. With Google Play Store onboard, users can access wide range apps from it. The company has also promised that the new Android TV series will be treated with Oreo update in future. These TVs come with voice-enabled remote control. Since it comes with Chromecast features inbuilt, users will not have to invest in one separately.
Apart from different sized IPS DLED backlit panels that support 4K UHD resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, all the three Android TVs from Vu carry the same specs. These TVs are powered by quad-core CPU and 2.5 GB of RAM.
The other common features of these Vu TVs include 16 GB native storage, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, Ethernet, 3.5mm audio jack, AV port, RF input, 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports and a USB 2.0 port. For enhanced audio experience, all three Android TVs are equipped with 20W speakers and they also carry support for DTS TruSurround and Dolby Digital audio.
The 55-inch Vu Official Android TV carries a pricing of Rs. 55,999. The 49-inch and 43-inch models are respectively priced at Rs. 46,999 and Rs. 36,999.
