Now, I don’t know if this is great news for you as an app user because I have aways felt there is no need to go ga ga over the number of apps a platform has because you wont usually end up using even a fraction of that number. Anyway, this could well be good news for Windows Phone 7 as a platform and Microsoft in general. Windows Phone 7 has finally crossed the important landmark of crossing 10,000 applications in its Apps Marketplace.
The good thing? It has crossed this mark way faster than either iOS or Android managed to do it – in just under four and a half months. Impressive eh? Looks like Microsoft doing impressive things go un noticed these days with most of the attention being given only to Apple. It was just days ago that Microsoft announced that it had created a Guinness record by selling over 10 million Kinect sensors in 2010.
Now only if Microsoft gets smarter and delivers all those important WP7 updates on time.. that would be great!
