Well, this is one of those rumors which you want to be true, just because this one has the potential of being a game changer in the smartphone market. As per WP-Life, the Samsung Galaxy SIII which is expected to be launched on May 3rd might also come with Windows Phone 8 in October.
Earlier reports, had suggested that Samsung would not be releasing any more Windows Phone devices in the first half of 2012, and would do so only after the launch of the Windows Phone 8 platform. With the Samsung Galaxy SIII’s rumored launch of May and the Windows Phone 8 already past Beta testing, an October launch of the device seems possible.

As per WP-Life’s internal sources Samsung is supposed to lift off the design and specs of the Samsung Galaxy SIII, modify it a bit and use the same for their latest Windows Phone 8 device which might be launched in October and called the Samsung Focus S II. Samsung did the same with the Samsung Focus S when they modified the design of the Samsung Galaxy SII and used it for the Focus S.
Considering what we have been hearing about the Galaxy SIII, we can expect the following on the Focus SII:
A dual core processor (considering Stephen Elop’s recent statements in the press a quad core processor looks a bit unlikely), 4.7 inch HD display, 8-12 MP camera on the back and a 2MP camera on the front (with Skype being an integral part of the Windows Phone platform a front camera is a must on all the future Windows based devices), Improved photo studio and a dedicated camera button, LTE Support and Samsung cloud support (after Microsoft has upped the ante with its cloud service Skydrive, it will be interesting to see what Sammy has to offer).
Well, one thing is for sure, for these rumors to have any probability of occurring Samsung has to first launch the Galaxy SIII in May and only then we can think about the Focus SII. And if the Focus SII indeed happens it would be a shot in the arm for Microsoft and the Windows Phone platform which is right now fighting a lone and seemingly losing battle against iOS and Android with Nokia.
