Sony Cybershot DSC-TX55: World’s Slimmest Camera

If you were impressed by the Cybershot TX9 & WX5 for its 3D imaging ability and an impressive set of features, get prepared to blown off with the Sony Cybershot DCS-TX55 which boasts of being the World’s slimmest camera.

The DSC-TX55 is not only the slimmest at a mere 12.2 mm which amounts to be even slimmer than a AA size battery, but also boasts of the best features in its class including 16.2 MP camera, 5x Zoom and the ability to do full HD videos. It also has an Exmor CMOS sensor, an acclaimed technology that helps reduce noise significantly with better image details even during low light conditions.

The DSC-TX55 also has an auto-focus which can lock onto the subject in a mere 0.1 seconds, thus allowing you to click clear images even when the subject is in motion. This is one of the best features considering the fact that images on point to shoot usually get blurred due to the long time they take to lock on the subjects and hence resulting in the blurry images.

Thus the DSC-TX55 allows you to click great images with the help of the above features and an “Auto mode” wherein, the camera automatically adjust its settings inorder to reduce noise and adjust the focus as per the distance from the subject. The camera also boasts of a 3.3″ Xtra Fine OLED touchscreen. Not to forget the amazing 3D imaging technology with the help of shooting options, 3D Sweep Panorama mode and Sweep Multi Angle.

The Sony Cybershot DSC TX55 is available in three colours which includes Gold, Black & Silver for Rs. 19,900 and will be available in Sony Centres and other major retail outlets.
