We tried out VLC Play on Windows Phone 7 Marketplace and it works brilliantly with our PC. VLC play lets you control your PC from your Windows Phone 7 – totally wire-free. To get started all you need to do is enter the IP address of the computer where you want to control VLC player, simple! The app however requires you to have the VLC Play Server installed on your system (PC) before this works (else there is also a complicated manual procedure before you get started – see here).
