Indian handset manufacturer Xolo launched their budget-smartphone Xolo Cube. The device is priced for Rs 7,999 with Lollipop 5.0 available in white, black and gold. The phone is 6.9 mm thick with its dimension: 143 x 71 x 6.9 mm.
The device has a 5 inch display which offers high definition resolution, 1280 x 720 pixels with a pixel density of 294ppi. This IPS display has a five point touch input which is powered by a 1.3 Ghz quad core processor, Mediatek 6582M. Along with this the phone is powered by Mali 400 MP GPU along with a 1 GB RAM. After the Xolo laptop the device is armed with the latest Android 5.0 aka Lollipop operating system the Xolo Cube 5.0 offers an internal memory of 8GB expandable upto 32GB via microsd card.
The device offers an 8 megapixel rear camera along with a flashlight and a 2 megapixel front camera. The rear camera comes along with a full HD video recording facility. Apart from this, the phone offers HDR, burst shot, panorama, face recognition along with voice capturing abilities.
The phone is a dual SIM device which, under the connectivity has 3G, GPS>AGPS, micro USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi (b/g/n), 3.5mm audio jack, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. The company claims to offer 11 hours of talktime or 466 hours of standby on 3G networks with the 2100 mAh battery.
Last month, Xolo launched a limited Liverpool FC edition of its Xolo One smartphone for the hardcore football fans. The liverpool FC edition of its Xolo One was priced at Rs. 6,299 and was exclusively available for purchase on Snapdeal.
The limited edition was pretty identical to the original Xolo One in terms of specifications but in their added features the Liverpool FC’s iconic Liverbird printed on the ‘premium leather back’. Along with this it is bundled with the LFC-branded charger and the back case apart from an authenticity certificate. Users also get preloaded Liverpool wallpapers and an LFC boot animation.
