Google’s YouTube, as you might be aware wasn’t originally a Google service until they bought it for $1.65 billion from Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim – the original founders.
Amongst them, Chad Hurley was until now, involved with the day to day activities of the site. Like I said, that was until now. Apparently, Hurley is ending his daily involvements with the site with Google’s Salar Kamangar taking over the reins as the CEO.

In other YouTube related news, major relief for YouTube users in Turkey after the country has eased restrictions on access to the site. The three and a half year ban was imposed after objectionable content related to Turkey’s founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk were posted on a video on the site.
