Zync Global who has been of late been on a tablet launch spree has just announced the launch of a brand new addition to their tablet range. The newest tablet to come out of their stables has been christened the Quad 10.1. As made obvious by the name, the Quad 10.1 features a 10.1 inch display and is powered by a Quad Core processor. The display has a resolution of 1920*1080 pixels and supports 10 point multi touch as well.
The quad core processor chugs along at 1.5 GHz and is supported by 2 GB worth of RAM making the device at least on paper, a very powerful tablet. The rear of the tablet is adorned by a 5 MP rear auto focus camera with support for face detection as well. There is a 2 MP front-facing camera as well using which you can video chat. On the connectivity front, the tablet gets support for Wi-Fi, HDMI and micro-USB. There is 16 GB of onboard memory and as expected, you can increase that further using micro SD cards. Under the hood is a Lithium-Ion battery rated at 8000 mAh.
Speaking on the launch of the Quad 10.1, Amul Mohan Mittal, Co-Founder, Zync Global said, “After seeing the success of the Quad 8 and the quad 9.7 tablets, Zync is now entirely targeting the high-end affordable tablet market in the country. This Quad 10.1 tablet is packed with premium features and is being offered to the consumer at a very affordable price.”
The tablet runs Android 4.1 JellyBean out of the box and we believe is quite future proof and can be upgraded to newer versions as and when they are out.
Here are the complete specifications of the Quad 10.1 tablet
The best part about this full HD display toting tablet is perhaps its price which at launch is Rs. 14,990! While we cannot recommend this one unless we test it out ourselves, a tablet with a full HD display for just Rs.14,990 is simply value for money!
