Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G To Hit Airtel Stores On 16th January

After the recent announcement, Airtel has now announced 16th January as an official date for the availability of Redmi Note 4G at the Airtel stores. Celebrating the Mi Day, as they previously promised on coming Friday, Airtel is all set to organize offline sales of the Redmi Note 4G across its 133 stores in 6 cities –  Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Chennai and Kolkata.

After a lot of speculations of Redmi Note 4G arriving in India, the sales are finally  ready to flag off at 3:00PM on Friday. The Mi fans can simply walk in their nearest Airtel store and get it without any prior bookings. The devices will be sold on first-come-first-serve basis as the stocks are said to be limited. The same setting for the Mi day will be held every week, till the stocks are available. In addition to the walk-in availability, one can visit www.airtel.in/mi and confirm an appointment to purchase the Redmi Note from a store of their choice.

For users with other telecom providers, the eligibility for buying the device would be first getting either a Airtel prepaid connection (with at least 1GB 3G data pack) or a postpaid connection. Documents requested for getting the Airtel connection are a copy of their ID proof, Address proof and a passport size photograph. The payment options available at the Airtel stores are Credit Card, Debit Card and Cash.

Customers getting their Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G will be offered a 4G enabled SIM with which the users can enjoy the 4G services by Airtel, if provided in their city. Existing 3G Airtel users can enjoy 4G speeds with the Redmi Note 4G at the same 3G tariff plans they have. For the customers in the cities with no 4G service provided yet, they will automatically be upgraded to 4G once the services are deployed, that too with their same 3G tariff plans.
