Amazon has already set its foot on the Androidsphere by introducing their own Amazon App store for Android. Later they also introduced a cloud based music player. Amazon is also the home of kindle, which was a huge hit. Just recently we have been hearing news that Amazon has struck a deal with Samsung for its hardware so are we looking at an Amazon Android tablet?
Amazon’s competitor Barnes & Noble had also launched an Android tablet just a few months back which was very low cost and fared quite well in the market. This is the perfect time for Amazon to release their device which if priced right can compete the iPad and the iPad 2.
Amazon is fully set with its own store and cloud based services, also the rumored hardware from Samsung. As this will not be their first mobile device they can do pretty well in the market if they have the latest hardware coupled with honeycomb and a low price like the Nook color which was sold at 299 $ and still was profitable. What Amazon can do here is reduce the cost like B&N did and expect the users to buy from the Amazon store which already has its base on Andriod.
Potentially we looking at a great tablet here, with the latest Android operating system with the best hardware from Samsung , the Amazon App store, Cloud music, the kindle e-reader software and low pricing? Or is it just an Android twist to the Kindle?
