If you were unaware, Samsung Epic 4G, the Americanized version of the Samsung Galaxy S hasn’t yet been updated to Froyo. While the official update is yet to arrive, a leaked version of the Android 2.2 has appeared over at XDA Developers Forum, the usual suspects.
This leaked version already comes in a rooted form and as expected, comes with its share of bugs as well. As Engadget noted, The phone experiences some sluggish / buggy web browsing. What this leaked release points towards however is an imminent release of Froyo for the Epic 4G – in the near future.
