Android Honeycomb based ‘Tablet Toshiba’ Delayed

Toshiba’s second android tablet which was said to arriving in the UK sometime during Q2 is to be delayed. According to Ken Chan, Product Market Manager of Toshiba, Android Honeycomb tablet would be delayed and it might launch during Q3. Mr. Chan refused to divulge any details on the reasons for the delay.

Toshiba’s first android tablet Folio was launched on November 2010 which features 10.1 in tablet that has a 1024 x 600 capacitive touch screen, NVIDIA Tegra 2 system-on-a-chip, front-facing 1.3MP webcam, master USB 2.0 port and a mini HDMI connector.

Toshiba’s second android tablet will feature a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, a 5-megapixel camera and a 0.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It will also feature support for HDMI output, USB port connectivity and microSD cards.

Folio android tablet had a great success and if Toshiba tries to advance its second android tablet and launches it as early as possible then it would be another success for Toshiba.
