All fowl-flinging fans have reason to celebrate. A Christmas edition of the downloaded-by-millions Angry Birds is indeed in the works and what is more, it is going to be available for free download. Well, for some people at least. According to information that is filtering in from many sources, the Christmas edition of the game will be a free download to all those who shelled out for the Halloween edition of the game. How much will the others have to pay? Well, we do not know at the moment but what we do know is that you will not have to wait until Christmas for the game – it is likely to be coming out at least two weeks before Santa comes to town.
Rumours of a Christmas edition of the game had incidentally emerged when Rovio, the game’s developers, had placed the game’s iconic bird on its Facebook page with one wearing a Santa hat.
